Country Finance manager

 

The Country Finance Manager is responsible for the overall financial management and integrity within a Country or Group of Countries including cash management, balance sheet integrity and local compliance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall financial management and coordination in the country.
  • Supervises treasury, tax, billing, collection and payable staff that are located within the country.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling DSO within the country.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the balance sheet in the country
  • Works closely with the operations to ensure that the operations within the country are conducted in compliance with the local laws.
  • Ensures that all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures adherence to corporate ethical policies and internal controls.
  • Ensures that the accounting transactions are recorded in compliance with the local accounting regulations and practices.
  • Trains line managers to interpret and comprehend financial statements and principles.
  • Provide the financial training for the operation. Answer inquiries regarding financial assets, recommend policies, and advise line management.
  • Recruit, train and develop all financial staff within the country.
  • Review and approve all material non-FTE Capital Acquisition Reviews (CAR's), and long-term lease commitments.
  • Understands, reviews, implements, complies with and assists with development of Sarbanes Oxley requirements as defined in the risk control matrix.

 

Experience & Exposures:

  • Candidate must have minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent.
  • 8 -15 years of relevant experience in a senior finance role
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills
