Longford, Ireland

 

SLB Ireland is the engineering centre of excellence for flow control products, we have an energetic R&D Team focused on developing Energy Harvesting and other technology for the Energy Industry.

 

 

Description & Scope:

​​​​Co-working with a mature team of New Technology Engineers to develop disruptive flow control and energy harvesting technology​, you will be:

 

  • Designing R&D projects from inception to completion
  • Developing leading edge technology for Energy Harvesting, and the Energy Industry
  • Analyse, design, develop, maintain products, and assist in their commercialization
  • Build prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing. Set up and run lab simulations
  • Design and implement tests, document results, and develop customer presentations
  • Provide timely corrective actions on defects
  • Produce analyses and mathematical models and draw design conclusions based on those
  • Conduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications and designs, code, and other artifacts

 

 

 

Deliverables:

  • ​Engineering , Research and Testing and documentation support in the development of cutting edge technology that is needed in Energy, Oil and Gas and Flow Control industries.
  • Co working with a skilled team of Mechanical, Electronic and Software Engineers in a R&D environment.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Studying towards a Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or a related disicpline.
  • Competent in Microsoft Suite
  • 3D modelling skills desirable
