HR Benefits Representative
Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for employees regarding employee relations issues and concerns about motivation and job satisfaction.
- Support employee engagement initiatives including local community events.
- Conduct employee information meetings on employment policies, benefits and compensation. Participate in union-related meetings where appropriate.
- Support with onboarding/ offboarding of new employees/ transferred in employees.
- Support as immigration point of contact with external consultants and employees.
- Liaise with Ministry of Labour and 3rd party on Labour/ HR related audits/ issues.
- Liaise with CNPS and the external Consultant on all Social security related audits/issues
- Record employees' enrolment and changes in benefits systems.
- Ensure the accuracy of contribution files and timely payment of contributions to the Ministry, CNPS and all Labour authorities.
- Perform regular audits of benefits contribution reporting for eligible participants.
- Make sure that proper records are obtained and maintained for purposes of administration of benefit plans, such as the rehiring record for new rehires or designation of beneficiaries.
- Ensure proper distribution of annual benefits statements to participants and answer queries.
- Process benefits for participants upon departure from company or retirement.
- Coordinate with Payroll and Finance for issues related to contributions and payment of benefits.
- Update websites where benefits plan information is stored.
- Comply with Schlumberger standards and policies.
- Maintain a good grasp of HR and business issues.
- Participate in initiatives aimed continuously improving HR performance and employee motivation.
- Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and IVC labor code.
Experiences & Exposures
- Bac+3/4 in human resources, industrial relations or any related management or social science field of study.
- 2- 4 years relevant HR and Benefit Administration experience including CNPS management.
- Working knowledge of the local labour law in Ivory Coast.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools.
- Proficiency in English
