Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager to plan, execute, and monitor deepwater completion projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Management Team to plan, execute, and monitor deepwater completion projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide technical expertise in deepwater completion systems, including well construction, production, and intervention equipment.
- Interface with subsea engineering teams to coordinate wellhead, tree, and control system integration.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure all equipment, materials, and resources meet project specifications and requirements.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including engineering designs, technical reports, risk assessments, and schedules.
- Identify and address technical and operational challenges, proactively mitigating risks to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards, maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity.
- Support the team in cost estimation, performance tracking, and reporting progress to project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree: Engineering bachelor's degree, active CREA
- Main experience: 5+ years of experience in offshore/deepwater completions or subsea controls engineering.
- Computer/Software Skills: experience with engineering design tools and data analysis software. Familiarity with project management software is a plus
- English level: Fluent in written and spoken English
- Valid legal authorization to work and live in Brazil
