Job Description

SLB is seeking a personable, quick‑learning, and technically inclined individual to join our Clairmont team as a Customer Service Specialist. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment, enjoys solving operational challenges, and can balance office‑based responsibilities with occasional visits to customer or shop locations. Strong organizational skills, interpersonal communication, and comfort working with business systems such as SAP will set you up for success in this position. In this role, you will gain hands‑on exposure to surface wellhead operations and field activities while preparing quotations, entering sales orders, coordinating shipments, communicating progress updates, and partnering closely with sales, warehouse, supply chain, and procurement teams.

 Roles and Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and maintain accurate order entry and quotations in SAP, including contract review and alignment with specifications, delivery requirements, documentation, packaging, and Trade Compliance.
  • Coordinate the full order‑to‑delivery cycle, ensuring timely communication of progress updates, shipment schedules, and any potential delays or conflicting purchase‑order terms.
  • Collaborate with sales, credit & collections, supply chain, manufacturing, shipping, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless customer service and issue resolution.
  • Support field and shop operations when required, including creation of wellhead install packages and coordination with field service technicians for wellhead installations.
  • Participate in on‑call rotation to support urgent customer or shop needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through Manufacturing System principles and complete routine reporting.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Technical diploma/degree in Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 Years of experience in oil & gas, preferably in wellhead-surface systems, field services, or a similar commercial/manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience working with ERP systems (SAP strongly desired).
  • Class 5 Driver’s License required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
