The AP Analyst Vendor Master Data Specialist is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of vendor master data in SAP to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing of procurement and payment activities. 

Key Responsibilities

- Support payment teams by resolving vendor-related payment rejections and bank validation issues by Identify and resolve inconsistent vendor records. 

- Investigate and resolve vendor master data-related issues impacting payments or procurement.

- Handle escalations related to incorrect onboarding, rejected payments, or blocked vendors.

- Support month-end and year-end close activities where vendor data impacts payments.

- Maintain accurate vendor data including bank details, payment terms, tax information, and contact details.

- Create, extend, modify, block, and delete vendor master records in SAP (e.g. Vendor, company code, purchasing organization).

- Process vendor change requests, and deactivation via MDG or ticketing systems.

- Validate supporting documents to ensure completeness and compliance with company policies. Communicate effectively with requesters and vendors to clarify data requirements.

- Perform secondary call wi th vendor on any bank details change/update of the master data.

-Ensure compliance and internal control. 

Data Quality & Governance

-Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with global and local master data standards. Work closely with Procurement, payment team, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Finance teams.
