Manufacturing Production Supervisor

 

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising Assembly and Test Operators, and monitoring, maintaining, and controlling direct functions within the manufacturing shop.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Train or coach employees on administrative or technical processes and procedures.
  • Ensure the safety of employees.
  • Ensure that workers have the necessary equipment and prints to perform their duties.
  • Resolve production issues and escalate those that require management attention.
  • Educate employees on quality standards and procedures.
  • Develop work instructions and procedures for manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct performance review and formal performance/career development discussions with direct reports.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
  • Experience in supervisory roles preferred.
  • Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and cany out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
