SLB is looking for a motivated, curious, and hands‑on student or recent graduate to join our Calgary team as a Summer Intern supporting Directional Drilling projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to support technical teams while gaining exposure to a dynamic environment where engineering, processes, and technology come together to support SLB’s operations. Interns in this program are assigned a defined project aligned with their background, interests, and development goals. This is an excellent early‑career opportunity to gain real industry experience, develop practical skills, and contribute to meaningful initiatives while working alongside experienced engineers, technicians, and technical leaders.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day engineering and project activities related to Directional Drilling operations.
- Develop and deliver a project assigned at the beginning of the internship, tailored to the intern’s academic background and interests.
- Assist with design‑based and process‑driven projects, including documentation, analysis, and coordination tasks.
- Collaborate with technicians, and drilling engineers to understand real‑world operations and engineering workflows.
- Gain exposure to SLB’s industry‑leading tools, technologies, and engineering processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Currently enrolled in, or graduated within the past year from, an Engineering diploma or bachelor’s program.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Exposure to or interest in drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) is considered an asset.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
