Job Description
The HR Intern is responsible for assisting HR reps to support employees on topics including relocation, benefits, career development, performance appraisals, compensation, and promotions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing materials and logistics for employee information meetings on policies, benefits, and compensation.
- Provide administrative support to HR reps and managers in interpreting and applying HR policies and programs.
- Help coordinate HR tools and processes, including scheduling performance appraisals, tracking career planning activities, and maintaining succession planning records.
- Support employee engagement initiatives by organizing surveys, collecting feedback, and assisting in event planning.
- Help with initial screening of employment applications and scheduling interviews.
- Contribute to organizing internal teambuilding events and local community activities.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new team members by preparing materials and assisting with introductions.
- Conduct basic research on HR and business issues to support HR representatives.
- Assist in HR improvement projects by gathering data, preparing reports, and suggesting process enhancements.
- Handle employee information securely and ensure compliance with data privacy and protection guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Capable of working in groups as well as independently.
- Professional time management
- Team player with an enthusiastic approach to fresh challenges.
