Job Description
The Data Analyst is analytics professional responsible for independently leading end-to-end BI and Power Platform solution development. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business challenges into scalable data models, enterprise dashboards, and automated digital solutions.
The position requires strong expertise in Power BI data modelling, advanced DAX calculations, Power Apps solution design, and Power Automate workflow architecture. The analyst is expected to design robust and optimized data solutions that integrate multiple enterprise systems (e.g., SAP and other operational platforms), ensuring performance, scalability, and governance compliance.
Beyond development, this role plays a consultative function — analysing trends, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing actionable insights that support tactical and operational decision-making. The Data Analyst II also contributes to automation strategies by streamlining manual processes through integrated Power Platform applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advanced BI & Analytics Development
- Lead stakeholder requirement gathering sessions.
- Design optimized data models (Star schema, performance tuning).
- Develop advanced DAX measures and complex calculations.
- Build enterprise-level dashboards with governance standards.
2. Advanced Power Platform Development
- Design and develop scalable Power Apps solutions (Canvas & Model-driven).
- Architect complex Power Automate workflows including conditional logic, integrations, and approvals.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Implement automation frameworks to reduce manual processes.
3. Data Architecture & Integration
- Design dataflows and ETL pipelines.
- Optimize performance of large datasets.
- Ensure data validation, quality checks, and governance compliance.
- Standardize reporting structures and KPI definitions.
4. Leadership & Mentoring
- Mentor Data Analyst I team members.
- Conduct solution reviews and code validation.
- Support project planning and effort estimation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required: Bachelor’s or Master’s in equivalent field.
- 1–6 years of experience in BI / Analytics / Power Platform development.
- Strong expertise in:
- Power BI (advanced DAX & modelling)
- Power Apps development
- Power Automate automation frameworks
- Experience integrating SAP or enterprise systems.
- SQL knowledge required.
- Experience leading small to medium analytics projects.
