Data Analytics Engineer

Job Title: Data Analyst 

SLB Pune, Maharashtra, India (Hybrid) 

Responsibilities: 

• Ability to interpret data, analyse results, and provide ongoing reports and recommendations while building dashboards and reports. 

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics role. 

• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI, M-Query, and DAX. 

• Strong knowledge of SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, sub-queries, etc.). 

• Comfortable working with workbench tools like SSMS, SSIS, MySQL Workbench. 

• Proficiency with Python for data analysis and scripting. 

• Understanding of basic statistics. 

• Knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud Platforms. 

• Experience working with version control (e.g., Git) and Agile teams. 

• Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences. 

Preferred / Nice to have: 

• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance within cloud environments. 

• Data Pipeline development in Azure Data Factory, Fireflow etc. 

• Development experience with Microsoft Power Platform solutions like Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric. 

• Experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for data analysis: 

• BigQuery 

• GCS (Google Cloud Storage) 

Other skills and abilities: 

• Ability to work in globally distributed setting without much supervision. 

• Self-driven, Proactive. 

Academics: 

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/M.E)
