SLB is seeking a proactive and technically strong individual to join our Calgary team as a Production Technical Solutions Sales. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of production-focused technical solutions by working closely with account managers and digital teams to translate customer needs into value-driven proposals. You will contribute to sales strategy through technical input, customer engagement, and participation in conferences and industry events, playing a key role in supporting revenue growth.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can effectively bridge technical expertise with business understanding. This role offers the opportunity to work in a growing and strategic domain, with exposure to cross-functional teams and evolving digital technologies in the oil and gas industry. You will contribute to shaping solutions supporting the adoption of new technologies in the market.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of technical sales strategies by providing domain expertise across production solutions.
- Execute technical sales activities, including preparing proposals, developing solution concepts, and contributing to revenue forecasts and business planning.
- Engage with customers alongside account managers to discuss technical solutions, understand operational needs, and support ongoing opportunities.
- Represent SLB at conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote technologies and strengthen market presence.
- Monitor market trends and customer environments to identify new opportunities and support the adoption of production technologies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in production engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is required.
- Familiarity with process simulation tools such as Symmetry or HYSYS is preferred. Experience with production systems and process engineering technologies is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with exposure to production or process engineering.
- Experience supporting technical or customer-facing activities is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and clients.
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
