Sales & Commercial

  • The Tender Manager has overall responsibility for leading the tender process from receipt of ITT to handover to project execution.
  • The Tender Manager provides the leadership and direction to a multi-disciplined team to ensure the tender aligns with the winning strategy and meets the requirements of the customer.
  • The Tender Manager must demonstrate that due diligence has been followed with respect to the project execution plan, the cost and manhours budgets and the market pricing and obtain management approvals in line with tender governance rules.
  • The Tender Manager is also the main point of contact for the customer and manages the response to all tender bulletins and requests for clarifications.
  • The Tender Manager is responsible for the efficient handover to project execution following contract award.

Commercial 

  • Understanding and appreciation of commercial terms 
  • Understanding and appreciation of project cost structure, market pricing and P&L

Technical

  • Understanding of the Scope of Work required to deliver a SPS/Services project.
  • Understanding of all aspects of a Project Execution Plan 

Personal

  • A proven team leader with ability to motivate and co-ordinate a cross-functional team
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Excellent process management skills 
  • Strong presentation skills – ability to summarise complex information and communicate it in a concise & compelling manner to influence decisions
  • Ablity to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Tender Manager/Tender Co-Ordinator or Project Manager/Project Co-Ordinator
