KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Release & DevOps Support

  • Assist in coordinating application deployments and release activities.
  • Support release validation, testing coordination, and deployment checklists.
  • Maintain release documentation and change records.
  • Help monitor CI/CD pipeline executions and report failures or deployment issues.
  • Ensure adherence to change management and release governance processes.

AI, Copilot & Innovation Support

  • Participate in AI and Copilot adoption initiatives within the Maximo ecosystem.
  • Assist with research, testing, and documentation of new technology solutions.
  • Support proof-of-concept activities and innovation programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team productivity through automation and AI-enabled capabilities.

Agile Delivery Support

  • Support Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Track delivery activities, action items, and project milestones.
  • Assist with status reporting, documentation, and team coordination.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Infrastructure teams to support successful delivery outcomes.

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Create and maintain operational procedures, knowledge articles, and support documentation.
  • Assist in gathering metrics related to incidents, releases, and system performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support automation and standardization initiatives where applicable.

Application Support & Operations

  • Monitor application health, scheduled jobs, interfaces, and system alerts.
  • Assist in analyzing and documenting application issues and support tickets.
  • Escalate critical issues to senior team members and support teams as needed.
  • Participate in root cause analysis activities and documentation.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant internship or work experience.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of enterprise applications and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Understanding of databases, APIs, and system integrations is desirable.
  • Exposure to IBM Maximo or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions is an advantage but not required.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a global team environment.
