  • To provide the working instructions for fixing nonconformances and share information and lessons learned with operations and engineering to prevent re-occurrences
  • To design and develop equipment which meets customer requirements and / or the need of oil field industry by performing the following engineering activities.

Engineer II is a junior level position with an emphasis on acquiring detailed product knowledge with the hopes of being intimately familiar with the product lines.  Progression to Engineer III upon assessment of performance by the Engineering Manager.

 

  • Prepare and check drawings, information and documentations which meet OneSubsea engineering standards / customer’s requirement to enable the manufacturing group and other departments to produce and market the Company's products
  • Carry out design & development work to meet customer’s requirements and / or industry’s needs having an awareness of good economic design and safety in both manufacturing and functional prospective.
  • Work within stated procedures to ensure that design records / controls are maintained.
  • Review, analyze and approve disposition for non conformance reports (NCR)
  • Be familiar with company products, design principles, various manufacturing techniques and offshore operations
  • Support factory acceptance / site integration test (FAT/SIT) and shop floor build programme through hands-on shop floor involvement
  • Perform and review mechanical analysis and calculation for design verification
  • Give technical advice on the application and proper use of OneSubsea products
  • Provide engineering technical support if requested, to manufacture, repair, re-manufacture, maintenance, assembly and testing
  • Assist in field performance report (FPR) investigation
  • Perform other related duties as delegated by the Supervisor/Manager
  • Observes all company’s policies regarding the quality management
  • Awareness and compliance with OneSubsea Health and Safety regulations
  • To adhere to all company and legal requirement as per  Johor-WI-A03-Roles, Responsibilities, Accountability and Authority (HSSE) document.

 

 

  • At least 2-5 years experience in similar oil field industry
  • Good knowledge with CAD software – AUTOCAD, AUTODESK INVENTOR
  • Good Knowledge with MS Word, Excel and Power point
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
