We are looking for a CNC Machinist located in Tulsa, OK. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

What you will do:

Sets up and operates CNC lathes to perform threading operations on experimental, individual or quantity parts or rods.  Selects mounts and aligns various machine attachments, standard or improvised tooling.  Sets and adjusts speeds, feeds and depths of cuts where applicable.  May be required to edit programs.

May be required to operate partner’s machine and own machine at the same time during breaks and lunches.  Conducts inspection to ascertain threaded rods meet Norris and/or API specifications using various precision and non-precision instruments, templates and go/no-go gauges.  Records inspection data for purposes of maintaining statistical information. May be required to attach protector in coupling and/or attach coupling on rod end to proper tightness. Monitors feed table and straighten improperly placed rod. Performs routine maintenance on the equipment including cleaning, adjusting and maintaining proper fluid levels and filters.  Maintains work area clean and in an orderly condition. May be assigned other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of High School/Vocational Technical training in machine tools with emphasis in shop math or equivalent experience, including basic computer skills. Knowledge of G-codes, precision tool measuring instruments, blueprint reading, and shop math is required. Four years of directly related experience.
