We are looking for a Paintline Operator located in Edmonton, AB, for a 3 month term. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

What You Will Do:
- Remove Sucker Rods from the Paintline machine after they have been painted
- Perform quality inspections
- Sort, crate, and package material to be shipped to the customer
- Use the strapping gun to band the material together
- Perform minor machine adjustments and maintenance
- Complete all associated paperwork, including, but not limited to, quality plans and cleaning plans
- Assist crane operators with the strapping/rigging of crates
- Clean working area, including cleaning & controlling any paint spillage
- Work in a safe manner, follow all rules, regulations, and legislation
- Follow Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement guidelines
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Fitness-to-work testing
- Background check
Position Details:
- Working at the Edmonton manufacturing facility
- 3 month contract term
- Rotating shift between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)
- Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on business conditions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent organization skills
- Reliable
- Able to follow direction from other personnel
- Able to prioritize
- Able to work in a team environment and with others
- Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English
