What You Will Do:

• The Driver’s role is to distribute our products promptly to our customers. To represent the company in a professional manner and help deliver customer satisfaction.

• Pick up, transport, and drop off a variety of Harbison-Fischer parts

• Follow route and time schedule

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle

• Complete any logs or reports needed

• Follow all safety standards

• Be professional with good communication and customer service skills

• Assist in warehouse and assembly area with stocking, loading, and organizing materials when needed

• Follow standard operating procedure while carrying out the responsibilities of this position

• Ensure that delivery truck is regularly cleaned and properly maintained

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and move up to 50 lbs, with assistance

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Drug and alcohol test

• Criminal background check

• Employment verification

• MVR

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license in state of residence required

• Good driving record

• CDL license experience a plus

• One to two years’ experience

• Driver will be required to have experience with pulling a trailer.

• Good computer skills

• Knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Commitment to work overtime as needed

• Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity

• Proven work experience as a delivery driver

• Able to work overtime and Saturday

• Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

Physical Demands:  

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

• The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

• Some work is sometimes accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.

• Some work is sometimes executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.

• Most work requires visits to the production floor, with varying temperatures and high levels of noise; safety equipment such as glasses and protective shoes may be required.

Compensation:

$25 - $27 per hour DOE
