Global Recognition for Being Who We Are

Schlumberger among the top 50 companies globally for workforce diversity and inclusion.

Schlumberger has placed among the top 50 employers on the Universum 2019 Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Global Index. The index was based on a survey of tens of thousands of university and college Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) students around the world.

Universum works with more than 2,000 universities, alumni groups and professional organizations around the world to identify concerns and perceptions guiding employer choices. Respondents are asked which companies and organizations they deem ideal places to work, and then to evaluate those companies across 40 workplace attributes.

The D&I index is based on survey results for three of the 40 workplace attributes: support for gender equality, commitment to diversity and inclusion, and respect for the company's people. Schlumberger ranked 44th on the D&I rankings of STEM students in particular. Diversity and inclusion are increasingly seen as important drivers of business success overall among Business and STEM respondents.
