Schlumberger INSPIRE Events Series: The Reservoir Symposium

The Reservoir Symposium is an exciting internal Schlumberger event that brings together technical and business minds across the organization to showcase the value of their projects and to inspire others.

There are two key stages within the Symposium event series. The first-round events are hosted by GeoMarkets, Technology Centers and Cameron Product Lines around the globe. Reviewing committees evaluate the top ten presentations from these rounds to select the projects that will be invited to compete at the event finals. In 2019, over 400 projects were presented at this stage.

Each event within the series is a fantastic opportunity for participants to share their projects and ideas. This knowledge sharing can help employees identify business and collaboration opportunities to solve clients’ challenges in their own locations.

Projects are judged on five categories: Technical Depth, Business Impact, Innovative Approach, Integration and Collaboration, and Overall Impression. The Reservoir Symposium is just one of a series of internal events that showcase our employees’ achievements to inspire others and bring our organization together.
