Meet Angelica, Operations Integrity and Knowledge Management Manager

Upon completing her bachelor’s in Business Administration, Angelica set her sights on working in a multi-faceted environment where she could broaden her horizons. She discovered a perfect career match when joining Schlumberger.

As she shares in this video, Angelica is amazed by the growth opportunities and the endless possibilities offered by the Schlumberger Global Business Services (GBS) organization, which has taken her on an exciting career journey.

Since joining the company as a Procurement Specialist seven years ago, she has had the opportunity to develop her capabilities in roles such as Spot Buyer and Business Process Improvement Lead, with her current position being Operations Integrity and Knowledge Management Manager in the Human Resources (HR) Bogotá Hub. While advancing her career at Schlumberger, she also pursued her master’s degree in Business Management, specializing in Business Innovation.

Having gained experience in various business units, what Angelica enjoys most about her job is the versatile and challenging nature of the work. ‘’I have been a buyer, then I was leading innovation and digital projects. Now, I’m working on Continuous Improvement projects to further achieve objectives,’’ she explains.

She points out that at Schlumberger, it is all about teamwork—working with diverse people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and locations to achieve common goals. “Being part of a multicultural team in an international environment that offers many career opportunities is exciting,” she says.

Her current role entails a wide range of responsibilities, such as promoting the culture of continuous improvement within the Hub and related areas, keeping track of, and giving visibility to main metrics and performance indicators, supporting the Hub on new scope transitions, and ensuring key performance objectives are met.

Angelica praises the company and the GBS organization for the dynamic and innovative business environment that allows employees to continuously learn and enhance their skillset.
