Every year, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) selects a group of professionals, nominated by their peers, to share their knowledge with members around the world through visits to local sections. And this season, once again Schlumberger technical experts have been selected to contribute for the current lecture season.
Schlumberger was founded on scientific innovation—specifically the invention and development of subsurface electrical resistivity logging by brothers Conrad and Marcel Schlumberger in the 1920s. Employees are encouraged to pursue technical and scientific careers—they are supported with training and career-long opportunities to experience different technical domains and to push the boundaries of their personal and professional development.
We are pleased to introduce the lecturers selected from our scientific community. Links to individual short profiles will be added over the coming weeks. Visit the SPE website for a full list of lecturers, as well as related webinars, and the 2020 Distinguished Lecturer virtual schedule.
