Jacqueline’s journey at SLB began in the field shortly after graduating from university in her home country of Indonesia. She always wanted to be part of the industry that contributes to powering the world and jumped straight into the field life with both feet. Whether she was offshore at sea or in the middle of the desert, she cherished the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, far from a traditional nine-to-five.
Six years—and many adventures— later, she works as a Performance Live Engineer at our Performance Live Centre in Abu Dhabi. Working from this digital service delivery centre, Jacqueline leverages her domain expertise to operate measurement/logging-while-drilling tools that run on operation sites.
Before the tools run into the wellbore, she prepares and programs them according to customers’ specific service requirements, ensuring everything is up and running. Once the operation begins, she empowers customers to obtain real-time intelligence directly from her computer. In this role, Jacqueline also thrives on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data by performing quality control checks.

Unlike her previous experience in the field, Jacqueline now oversees multiple jobs simultaneously in this role away from the rig—each with its own specificities and requirements—making prioritization and collaboration essential skills she mastered through her experience in the Performance Live Center.
She finds her role to be interesting, engaging, and very rewarding. Amid the empowering challenges and untraditional office work schedule, she enjoys the fixed rotation, allowing her to plan her personal time better. For her, there is never a dull moment; her team is very collaborative and diverse, with over twenty different nationalities and nearly half women. She has built strong relationships with her team and the customers she works with in other parts of the world, and she feels empowered to develop her career at the forefront of the energy technology industry.
